Handmade in Britain
After over a decade of designing and producing silk loungewear in Britain, I have decided to close this chapter of my practice in order to return fully to fine art. The remaining pieces now form the final Rose Fulbright silk collection.
Each garment was produced in limited quantities. Once archived, they will not be reproduced.
I am deeply grateful to those who have worn and supported my work.

A work of art in itself, our Cove print looks divine on this silk crepe kimono-wrap dressing gown. Dashes of blues and sparks of terracotta follow the draping fabric from neck to ankle. Worn open or belt-tied, this dressing gown is cut long for maximum elegance.

Fabulously feminine, this show-stopper of a beach caftan in organic cotton silk is almost too beautiful for coastal fun. Belted at the waist to flatter any figure, the caftan has front and back panels in either our trademark Tropical fish print or a cornflower aegean blue: perfect for heady marine days.
With her work, Rose’s aim is to convey the luxurious, slow flow of time in nature, combined with a sense of freedom and awe in the sublime. The careful use of materials and ecologically sound methods are at the forefront of her practice.
Portmeirion Pottery was founded by Rose's grandmother Susan, and Portmeirion Village built by her great-grandfather Sir Clough. Family ties to the Bloomsbury set have also been deeply influential.
Rose’s expressive use of colour is a hallmark of her work. Tones are chosen specifically to energise the viewer. Rose's palette is wide-ranging, always contrasting and interesting.
Surface patterns capture elegant, stylised forms found in nature, and are made with rhythm and pace at the forefront. All work is hand drawn and painted by Rose to capture the inimitable human imperfections that make a design so attractive.
Rose’s fine art practice explores sensorially rich, painted depictions of moments of beauty, tension and vitality.
